DAUPHIN; Max Moffat A resident of Chatham. Max M. Dauphin died Sunday August 31, 2008 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham at the age of 80. Born in Chatham son of the late John & Violet (Moffat) Dauphin. Beloved husband of Pauline Yvonne (Belanger) Dauphin. Dear father of Linda & Bruce Betteridge, Chatham and Joan & William Brisley, Chatham. Step-father of Leona, Laurie, Leonard (Karen), Randy (Monique), and Tina (Herbie). Grandfather of 7, Great Grandfather of 4, Step Grandfather of 11 and Step Great Grandfather of 4. Brother of Patricia Smith, Dorothy Dauphin and Diane & Don Thibert, all of Chatham and the late Donald, Reginald, Harold and William Dauphin. Max loved music and played the steel guitar for The Whippoorwills. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Wednesday September 3, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday at 1:30.
