FOULIS: Marjory Florence. A resident of Blenheim, Marjory Foulis passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the age of 85. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Everton and Bertha (Walker) Todd. Beloved wife of the late Norman L. Foulis (1987). Cherished mother of Myra Taylor-Pettit and her husband Don of Blenheim. Loving Nana of Shayna Taylor and chosen Nana of Candace, Amanda, and April Pettit. Predeceased by infant sister Ruth (1919). Sister-in-law of Emma Foulis, and the late Jack, Don and Ruth, Russell and Stella Foulis. Marjory will also be fondly remembered by her cousins Lyle and Evelyn Cartright of Wheatley, Joyce Gordon of Cambridge and her late husband Dave, Bruce Little of Blenheim and his late wife Alberta, and Gordon and Eunice Sterling of Blenheim. Mrs. Foulis was a member of Glad Tidings Community Church, Blenheim. She was also a member of the Blenheim Kinsmen/Kiwanis Club, and had been very active in the community throughout her life. She retired from the Bank of Montreal in Blenheim as Branch Manager after 42 years of service at the same location. She considered her co-workers and customers at the bank like family. She loved to be in her garden at home. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home "Ford Chapel", 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Powell officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations in honour of Marjory to Glad Tidings Community Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
