Obituary of Patrick Doughty

DOUGHTY: Patrick “Pat” Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre on Monday September 15, 2008 at the age of 70. Pat was born in Chatham, son of the late James Donald & Ella Mae (Maynard) Doughty. He retired to R.R. # 6 Perth (Drummond Township) several years ago from Chatham. Beloved husband of Joan (Skipper) Doughty. Loving father of Susan and her husband Pastor Mark Whiticar of Ignace, Dawn Doughty and her husband Larry Larocque of Brightside, Libby Doughty of Gravenhurst, and the late James Patrick Doughty (1961). Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Dear brother of James Edward “Ted” Doughty and his wife Bernice, and Sandra Jane & Leonard LaMarsh, all of Chatham. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday September 17, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark Whiticar officiating.
