Obituary of William A. Van Caille

Van Caille: William A. “Bill” A resident of Chatham and formerly of Kent Bridge, Bill Van Caille passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 78. Loving husband of 50 years to Marie Van Caille (nee Edmonson). Dear father to Christine and Archie Verbrugge; Denise and Scott McAllister, Kathy and John Wells. Proud grandfather to Jacob Verbrugge, Macy McAllister, Kenzie McAllister, Kayla Wells and Courtney Wells. Bill will also be dearly missed his sister Mary Martens and her husband William, Madeline Delay and his sister-in-law Shirley Van Caille. Predeceased by his brother Joseph VanCaille and his brother-in-law Henry Delay. Bill farmed in the Kent Bridge area for many years before retiring in Chatham. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street Chatham on Monday from 2:00 -4:30 p.m. and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Parish prayers to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday September 30, 2008 at St. Agnes Catholic Church 52 Croydon Street Chatham at 10:30 a.m. Father Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Interment at St. Anthony Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Bill’s life can be made to either the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance M.R.I.
