Obituary of Dorothy Gardiner

GARDINER: Dorothy Jean. A resident of Ridgetown, and formerly of Orford Township, Dorothy passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Douglas James Gardiner (1995). Loving mother of the late Allan Douglas Gardiner (1983). Survived by her children William Robert Gardiner (Brenda) of Orford and Dianne Louise MacDonald (Don) of Edmonton. Also missed by her daughter-in-law Janis Wadsworth of Port Lambton. Proud grandmother and great-grandmother of Meredith Gardiner, her husband Michael Malak and their daughter Mckenna of Guelph, James Gardiner of Toronto, Nicole [nee Gardiner] Robert ( Ken) and their children Evan and Reed of Jeannette’s Creek, Erin Gardiner of Sarnia, Kerry Gardiner of Toronto, Kirk Gardiner of Orford and Amber [nee MacDonald]Harbridge (Gary) of Edmonton. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Harry and Lila Busteed of Mull. She will be missed by her sisters Irene Lee of Highgate, Ruth Simpson (Russell) of Glencoe and Mary Lou Tye (Jim) of Mull. Survived by sister-in-law Florence Bodkin of Bothwell and brother-in-law John Gardiner (Evelyn) of Rodney. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:30 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Gosnell Cemetery.
