Obituary of Gordon William Kellestine

KELLESTINE: Gordon William, a resident of Chatham and formerly London, Ontario. Gordon W. Kellestine died Monday September 29, 2008 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 86. Born in Longwoods, Ontario son of the late Harry William & Lillian Kate (Knight) Kellestine. Beloved husband of Marie (Gavigan) Kellestine (2003) and the late Olga Carole (Semenuk) Kellestine. Dear father of Larry Brown & Coby Catalli, Ajax; Ron Kellestine & Jeannette Robert, Ottawa; Shirley Knudsvig, Chatham; Gary Kellestine & Lynn (Baird Manna), Ridgetown; Diane Maciejewski, London; Linda Brown Reinks & Bob Reinks, Holland and the late Dennis Brown (1994). Brother of the late Helen McKeegan, Earl Kellestine and William (Webb) Kellestine. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gordon served in WWII, 2nd Division, Royal Canadian Engineers and was a member of the Canadian Legion Branch 410, Port Stanley. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday October 2, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Reynolds officiating.
