Obituary of Ruth LaRose

LaRose: Greta Ruth (nee Nead) A resident of Chatham, Ruth LaRose went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, October 6, 2008, with her family by her side, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus at the age of 72. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Leonard and Greta (nee Moore) Nead. Dear mother to Wayne LaRose, Ellen and Lionel Bourhis, Steven LaRose, Sheila LaRose, Paula & Stew Massender. Mother-in-law to Dan Ball. Proud grandmother to Michael, Stephanie, Chris, Jacquelyn, Gerrit, Lindsey, Allison, Jillian, Nicholas and Jordynn. Great-Grandmother to Jade, Laken and Troy. Dear sister to Mack and Theresa Nead, Barb Anderson, Joyce Marsh, Janet and Tom Maynard, Loretta Dodman, Linda and Chuck Butler, Sandy & Dan Cayer, Brenda & Larry Johnson. Pre-deceased by her grandson Brandon LaRose and her brother-in-law Johnny Marsh. Family will receive friends at Praise Fellowship Church 65 Park Ave. E. Chatham on Thursday October 9, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Ruth’s life can be made to the Praise Fellowship Soup Kitchen or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
