Cameron: Donald Alexander A resident of Chatham, Donald A. Cameron passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus on Saturday October 25, 2008 at the age of 84. Born in Ashdale, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia, son of the late Alexander and Elsie (Croft) Cameron. Beloved husband of Lillian F. (Thomas) Cameron. Dear father of Stephen G. Cameron of Chatham and the late Shelley Griffin (1994). Grandfather of Sarah Suitor, Matthew Suitor, Courtney Cameron and Candice Pletsch all of Chatham. Great Grandfather of Shelbi. Brother of Janet Dagley of Milton, Nova Scotia, Grace MacKay of Lochaber, N.S., Ian & Evelyn Cameron of New Glasgow, N.S. and the late Katherine Fisher, Margaret MacDonald, Bessie Sutherland, William Green, Allister, Thomas, Douglas, and John James Cameron. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Harriet Cameron of Lochaber, N.S. and Nettie Cameron of Antigonish, N.S. Donald retired from International Harvester in 1985 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.. He enjoyed the hobby and challenge of repairing, fixing and constructing. The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday October 28, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Maroney of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment Arnold Cemetery. Donations to the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance MRI Fund or the First Presbyterian Church appreciated.
