Obituary of Mary Welsh Kirkland

Kirkland; Mary Welsh, a resident of Blenheim passed away Sunday November 2, 2008 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 83. A proud Scottish lass, born in Stirling, Scotland daughter of the late David Brown & Mary Ann (Welsh) Miller. Beloved wife of the late Stuart Bennett Kirkland (1996). Dear mother of Bob & Joanne Kirkland, Midland; Betty & Peter Girty, London; David & Jane Kirkland, Kingston; Nina & Ken Guy, Bracebridge; Don Kirkland, Surrey B.C. and Stuart Kirkland, Blenheim. Sister of the late Theresa, Sarah, Lizzy, John, James, David & Richard. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brother-in-law John & Mary Kirkland, London and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary was a past president of the Womens’ Auxillary of the Blenheim Legion Branch 185. A Private Family service will be conducted at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim.
