Obituary of Lucieanna Emery

EMERY: Lucieanna Maria (Lucy). A resident of Chatham and formerly of Dover Township, Lucy Emery passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the age of 87. Born in Dover Township, daughter of the late David and Ida (Laprise) Emery. Beloved wife of the late Leonard G. Emery (1982). Dear mother of Janice Caron and husband Michael of R.R.#1 Pain Court, Bob Emery and wife Sue of Couture Beach, Vincent Emery and wife Denise of Penticton, B.C., Nancy Jenkins and husband Gary of Mitchell's Bay, and Mark Emery and wife Kelly of Chatham. Loving grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 9. Sister of Theresa DeMaeyer of Newcastle and the late Adelard "Tubby" Emery. Sister-in-law of Gertrude Poulin of Hensall. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Emery was a member of St. Philippe's Catholic Church, Grande Pointe, and the Ladies of St. Anne's. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Pain Court on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
