Obituary of Bruce Ivan Arnold

Arnold: Bruce Ivan. A resident of Chatham, Bruce Arnold passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 56. Born in Chatham, son of Donna Arnold (Reid) and the late Ivan Star Arnold. Survived by and forever missed by his best friend of 25 years, Darlene (Sanson). Loving father of Jenna, Alyssa, Christine & Bob Arnold. Grandfather to Jacqueline, Bailey and Taylor. Bruce will also be dearly missed by his faithful companions Pongo and Howard. Brother to Gary, Anne, Tim and David. Brother-in-law to Sandie & George, Barry & Donna, Dave & Kim, Geraldine, Jean, Dennis, and Jim (Sanson). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Oswald, Cora and Wayne Sanson. Bruce was an employee of Ventra with over 27 years of service. His wonderful, loving spirit will survive through many friends and family. A Celebration of Bruce’s life will take place at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. As your expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to honour Bruce’s life can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance- M.R.I Campaign and would be appreciated by the family.
