McNeill, Ruth Elizabeth, a resident of Chatham. Ruth McNeill died Tuesday November 11, 2008 at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham at the age of 83. Born in Chatham daughter of the late Ernest & Edith Sutherland. Beloved wife of the late William Sloan McNeill (1977). Dear mother of David McNeill and his wife Diane Wilson, Chatham; Rod McNeill (Sharon), Chatham and the late Susan Edwards ( 1995 ). Mother-in-law of Gary Edwards and his wife Jackie, Chatham. Grandmother of Shelley Edwards, Mark Edwards, Ryan Edwards, and two great grandchildren. Sister of Bonnie McGee, Chatham; and the late Barbara Glover; Donald (Suds) Sutherland and Jack Sutherland. Cremation has taken place and a Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in Memory of Ruth to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
