Obituary of Eleanor Ivy Attle

A resident of Oshawa, passed away in Chatham on Friday, November 14, 2008 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Fred R. Attle (1992). Loving mother of Darlene Turner (Eric) of Chatham and Carol Conley (Doug) of Ancaster. Proud grandmother of Paul Turner of Canmore, Alberta, Tania Buko (Kevin) of Kitchener and Whitney Conley of Burlington. Great-grandmother of Brittany and Amanda Buko. Faithful companion to Jack Pearson of Oshawa. Eleanor was the daughter of the late William and Estelle Farrow. Survived by her brother Ken Farrow (Cathy) of Amherstburg and her sister Irene Wilson (Arv) of Peterborough. Predeceased by her brothers Alfred, Jack and Robert as well as her sisters Bernice, Beatrice and June. Eleanor was a veteran of the Second World War, where she served in the Canadian Women’s Army Corp. She was also a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church in Oshawa. Cremation is to take place followed by a private family service. Donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
