Emmanuel Roy

Obituary of Emmanuel Roger Roy

Roy, Emmanuel Roger - Emmanuel was born at 10:40 a.m. on Friday, October 24th, 2008. He slipped away peacefully on Thursday, November 13th to join his late twin brother in heaven. He leaves his father Raymond and mother Erin (Rankin). Emmanuel was born and taken from us too soon. He was our little "Honey Bear" who wasn't meant to live in this world without his twin brother. Now, they are at peace together and watching over our family-sometimes angels have to show their faces for a little while here on earth. Emmanuel will truly be loved and missed forever. Emmanuel is also survived by his grandparents Scott & Judy Rankin and Roger & Angela Roy, great grandparents Joseph & Mary Szucs, and great great grandmother Lea Szucs. Cherished nephew of Kelly & Matt Hart, Kathy & Steve Lacina, Jeffrey Rankin, Marie Coslovich, Gerard Roy & Laurie Hawkins, Bernard Roy & Stacey Laprise. He will also be missed by many cousins, great aunts and Uncles. A special thank-you goes out to Dr. Polsley, Dr. Mundle, Dr. Adie, and Dr. Thorns of the Windsor Regional Hospital, as well as the nurses from the NICU. Our heartfelt thanks also goes out to the Detroit Children's Hospital, the staff of Room 404B NICU, and attending physicians Dr. Shankaran and Dr. Bedard. A Private Family Service was held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham for Emmanuel on Sunday, November 16th, 2008. Thank-you to Reverend Phil Thompson for conducting the service. Interment followed at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Pain Court. Donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, as they were a great support during a very difficult time. Online condolences may be left at www.mckinlayfuneralhome.com. Emmanuel is our beautiful angel in heaven, and will watch over us all.
