Obituary of Stefan Mazan

Mazan: Stefan (Steve) A resident of Highgate, Steve Mazan passed away at the Four Counties Hospital on Sunday November 30, 2008 at the age of 82. Born in Poland son of the late John and Mary Mazan. Loving husband of Lena Mazan (nee Missiaen). Dear father to Janet and Kyran Murphy of London, John and Ruth Mazan of Highgate, Rose Marie Mazan of Highgate. Proud grandfather to Larry Murphy, Stephanie Murphy, Sara Mazan, Jeffrey Mazan and Dale Mazan. Dear brother of Mike and Cornelia Mazan of Chatham, Kathleen Labadie of Chatham and Alexandra (Sandra) Litwin of Ridgetown. Predeceased by his brother Peter Mazan and his sister Anna Cammaert. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home 76 Main Street E. Ridgetown on Wednesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Parish prayers to be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at St. Michaels Catholic Church 26 George St. Ridgetown at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Mariaraj Irudayam and Fr. Martin Johnston co-celebrants. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Steve’s life can be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
