Obituary of Geraldine A. Sojak

Sojak: Geraldine “Geri” Ann (nee Stonehouse). A resident of Ridgetown, Geri Sojak passed away at the Village Retirement Home on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the age of 74 years. Born in Petrolia, daughter of the late John and Emma Stonehouse. Loving wife of 48 yrs to Milan “Mel” Sojak. Dear mother of Gayle Wells and John Lillicrap of Burlington, Peter and Nadia Sojak of Newmarket. Proud grandmother to Turner and Tyson Wells, Jayne and David Lillicrap, and Emma Sojak. Predeceased by her sister Margaret White and Bill Stonehouse. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown for memorial visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers to be held at 8:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday December 11, 2008 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 26 George St., Ridgetown at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Chatham-Kent or the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance M.R.I.
