Bicum: Doris Maude ‘Ruby’ (Martin). A resident of Blenheim, Doris Maude “Ruby” Bicum passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham at the age of 94. Born in London, daughter of the late Jim and Maude (Pilotte) Martin. Beloved wife of the late John Henry Bicum (1997). Dear mother of Agnes “Judy” and Pete Clark of Chatham, Connie and Howard Fletcher of Valetta, Joan DeVogelaere of Blenheim and Janet and Dennis Drewery of Blenheim. Proud grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 16. Predeceased by 1 grandchild. Ruby will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private family funeral service will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, 2008 with The Rev. David Fuller of Trinity Anglican Church officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Ruby was the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by two sisters and four brothers.
