Obituary of Carol Ann Wolf

WOLF: Carol Ann (Doerr). A resident of Duart, Carol Ann Wolf passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the age of 64. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Scott) Doerr. Beloved wife of George Wolf for 43 years. Dear mother of Michelle Roelofs and her husband Wes of Morpeth, George Wolf and his wife Susan of Strathroy, and Jamie Wolf and his wife Stephanie of Blenheim. Loving grandmother of Kyle and Jessica Roelofs, Sarah and Steven Wolf, and Joshua and Ethan Wolf. Carol Ann was a nurse for 40 years, and graduated in 1966 from St. Thomas Elgin Hospital. She had previously worked at P.G.H. in Chatham, and had worked at Four Counties Hospital in the Operating Room and Emergency Room for the last 25 years. She was very active in the community, and was Past-President of the Highgate & District Lions Club. She was also involved with the Highgate & District Ballpark Association, and was an organizer of the Highgate & Orford Easter Egg Hunt. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Mezenberg and Rev. Margie Mezenberg officiating. Interment in Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate. Donations to the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance MRI Campaign would be appreciated.
