Obituary of Mary Adeline Newcombe

NEWCOMBE: Mary A. (nee Jenner), a resident of Blenheim, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2009 in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late John P. Jenner and Suzanna Russell, step-daughter of Florence Coulter. Mary was a former secretary, member of Blenheim United Church, U.C.W., Senior Adult Club, and former member of Blenheim and area church choirs. Beloved wife of the late Fred Newcombe (2003). Dear mother of Carol Drewitt of London, and Kenneth and wife Janette Newcombe of London. Grandmother of Jody and husband Pat Johnston of Wallaceburg, Jennifer Watt of Kingston, Paul and wife Jane Drewitt of Raleigh, North Carolina, Mark and Wife Wanda Drewitt of London, Beth and husband Alex Paul Solano of London, and Great-Grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Elsie Boyle of Brechin. Predeceased by brothers Leonard, Harley, Ralph, and Hugh Jenner, and sister Irene Nicholls. The Newcombe family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
