Obituary of John Verburg

VERBURG: John. On Monday January 5, 2009 the Lord took unto Himself, His faithful servant John Verburg, of Chatham, at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Marie Verburg (Dieleman). Cherished father of Tom & Marcia Kroesbergen of Ailsa Craig, and their children Krista (predeceased), Tom & Alida, Bob, Katie, Brittney, Lisa, Steven, and Bradley; and Jim & Jean Verburg of Komoka, and their children Sarah and Matthew. Dear brother of Joanne & Fred Smids, Adrian & Tina Verburg, Pauline & John Postma, Jack & Thea Verburg, all of Chatham, and the late Harry & Kathleen Verburg. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at First Christian Reformed Church, 25 Tweedsmuir Avenue East, Chatham on Thursday January 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
