Obituary of Helen Huffman

Huffman: Helen C. A resident of Blenheim, Helen Huffman passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the age of 91. Born in Hespeler, daughter of the late William and Mary Wenzel. Beloved wife of the late Smitty Huffman (1993). Dear mother of Mary Jane Huffman of London. Sister of Jean McArthur of Cambridge and her late husband Tom, the late Rene Wenzel, Lavine and Ab Swift, and Frank and Jessie Wenzel. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Helen was a longtime member of the Blenheim United Church and U.C.W. She worked alongside her husband Smitty for many years as bookkeeper of Huffman’s Service. Helen was a resident of Blenheim Community Village for the past 14 years and will be dearly missed by all her friends there. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Cook of Blenheim United Church officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
