Obituary of Mary Dolsen

Dolsen: Mary Josephine A resident of Chatham, Mary Dolsen died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Monday January 5, 2009 at the age of 69. Born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late Lloyd and Anna Copeland. Loving wife of 46 years to Douglas Dolsen. Dear mother of Mark & Margo Dolsen of Lakeshore, Paul & Ricki Dolsen of London, Jason Dolsen of London, and Sarah & JJ Davis of Frankford. Proud Nana to Amelia, Graham, Morgan, Drew, Bryson, Mackenzie and Keira. Dear sister of Louella Lindsay of Blenheim, Gardy and Diane Copeland of North Port, Florida, Murray and Claire Copeland of Chatham, Bob and Sarah Copeland of Port Lambton. Predeceased by two brothers James Copeland and Donald Copeland. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and sisters-in-law Clare and Marcia. Mary was a member of Sprucedale United Church; an active Board Member for the local Meals on Wheels program and was a former employee of the Chatham Cultural Centre and Union Gas. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Sprucedale United Church, 493 Victoria Avenue, Chatham on Thursday January 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Pat Milliken officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to honour Mary’s life can be made to the Sprucedale United Church for the “Christian Education Fund” or to a charity of your choice.
