Mills: Charles Elmer A resident of Chatham, Charles (Chuck) E. Mills, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the age of 48 years. Born in Galt Ontario, son of Anne J. (Chester) Mills of Chatham and Leonard C. Mills of Kitchener.. Beloved husband of Linda M. (Laprise) Mills of Chatham. Father of Angela Mills of Ottawa. Brother of Nancy & Paul Cutting of Cambridge and Heather & Rob Arbour of Halifax. Also surviving is his Mother-in-law Margaret Laprise of Ridgetown. Chuck was a chef by trade and was an involved member of the Moose Lodge of Chatham # 1692. He is the immediate past president of the Moose Legion and was serving as treasurer of the District at the time of his death. He was also a member of Branch 628 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home, Chatham at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2009 with Rev. John Giurin officiating. A Moose Lodge Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Donations to the Chatham Moose Lodge or the charity of choice appreciated and may be made at the Funeral Home.
