Obituary of Margaret Lee

LEE: Margaret E. A resident of Blenheim, Margaret Lee passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the age of 91. Born in Blenheim, daughter of the late William and Ethel (Allison) Stewart. Beloved wife of the late Verne Lee (1996). Dear mother of Fred Lee and his wife Kaye of Ridgetown, Larry Lee and his wife Linda of Belmont, the late Ethel Richardson (1994) and her husband Ron of Chatham. Grandmother of Brian and Ellen Richardson, Barbara Lovell, Scott and Darlene Lee, and Christine Lee. Great-grandmother of David, Daniel, Tabitha, Tiffany, Jamie Lee, Paige, Dylan, and Peyton. Sister of the late Ernie Stewart, John Stewart, Verne Stewart, and Georgia Terry. Sister-in-law of Helen Stewart of Chatham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Margaret will be missed by her friends at Serenity Lodge, Blenheim. She was a longtime member of Pandora Rebekah Lodge #42, Blenheim and served in the Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant and Central Ladies Encampment #60 Woodslee. Margaret was also a member of Fourth Line United Church, U.C.W. and Couples Club. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Monday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Rebekah Lodge will hold a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ed Nicol of Fourth Line United Church officiating. Interment in Burk Cemetery.
