Obituary of Janet Louise Rankin

RANKIN: Janet Louise, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with her family by her side on January 24, 2009 at the age of 53. Daughter of Janet Leah Isabella Rankin and the late Don Rankin. She is survived by her three children Chris White (Cory), William Killins, Patricia Killins (Kelly), her brother Jack Rankin (Bea) and a niece Leah Rankin. Proud grandmother of five grandchildren, Sydney and Dylan White and Brody, Brayden and Brett Killins. Dearly missed by her companion Stan Mardling and his children Carolyn, Janilea and Roschelle and a granddaughter Skylar. She leaves behind a special Aunt Elaine Bennett and among that special friends Karen Ferguson and Marie Delaney. She also leaves behind numerous cousins and other special friends. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Legion Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev. David Fuller officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date. Donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
