Obituary of J. Leslie Haines

HAINES: J. Leslie (Les). A resident of Rondeau Park, J. Leslie (Les) Haines passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the age of 74. Born in Ridgetown, son of the late Noah and Neta (Spence) Haines. Beloved husband of Margaret (Caron) Haines for 54 years. Dear father of Anne Marie Haines of Windsor, Allan Haines of Ridgetown, Pamela Vella and her husband Chris of Blenheim, Patricia Haines of Chatham, and the late Larry Haines (2005) and his wife Karen of Ridgetown. Grandfather of Christopher Goldhawk, Justin Mihalco, Stephanie Mihalco, Tim Haines, Karly Merilees, and Codi Merilees. Great-grandfather of Morgan Goldhawk, and Grayson Goldhawk. Brother of Irene Taylor of Ridgetown, and Hilda Valiquette of Sault Ste Marie. Also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A graveside Funeral Service will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown at a later date.
