NEWCOMBE: Doreen. A resident of Ridgetown, Doreen Newcombe passed away at the Village, Ridgetown on Friday, January 30, 2009 at the age of 93. Born in Howard Township, daughter of the late Erbert S. and Vesta (White) Lenentine. Beloved wife of the late Glen Newcombe (1993). Dear mother of George and Donna Newcombe of London, Fred and Doris Newcombe of Highgate, and the late Robert Newcombe (1967). Grandmother of Robert, Brian, Charlene, Warren, Wesley, Wayne, William, Andrew, and the late Eliakim Newcombe (1983). Great-grandmother of 26. Sister of the late Clark Lenentine (1967). Mrs. Newcombe was a member of Emmanuel Congregational Church, Ridgetown and the Eastern Star Mecca Chapter #58. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m and 7:00-9:00 p.m. An Eastern Star Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel Congregational Church, 92 Erie Street North, Ridgetown on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. (visitation at the Church 1 hour prior) with Pastor Matt Loveday officiating.
