Obituary of Margaret Maie Crow

CROW: Margaret Maie (nee Barnier), a resident of Chatham and formerly of Prairie Siding, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on February 3, 2009 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Orval Crow (1995). Loving mother of Marilyn Harper, Bill and Cheryl Crow, David and Doreen Crow, Jamie Crow and Nancy Crow all of Chatham and Jody and Carrie Crow of Wallaceburg. Proud grandmother and great-grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Margaret was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sophia Barnier (nee Reaume). Survived by sister-in-laws Gerry Barnier of Chatham and Faye Barnier of Winnipeg. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Bill Barnier, Lillian and Graham “Bud” Johnston, Jim Barnier, Aurellia Barnier and Donna Jean Barnier. Family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Peter’s Church, 5425 Tecumseh Line (River Rd.), Tilbury on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations made to the Victoria Order of Nurses, the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
