Obituary of Rita Marie Savoie

Savoie: Rita Marie (nee Durelle) A resident of Chatham, Rita Savoie passed away at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Tuesday February 10, 2009 at the age of 78. Born in New Brunswick, daughter of the late Fredrick and Elizabeth Durelle. Loving wife of Roger Savoie. Dear mother of Ronald Savoie of Costa Rica, Michel Savoie of Windsor and Julien Savoie of Chatham. Proud grandmother to Ryan Savoie, Brent Savoie and their mother Ginny Savoie; Jesse and Stephanie and their mother Mary Duckworth. Survived by her sister Julia Savoie of Rivière des Cache and Edwige Durelle of New Brunswick. her brother-in-law Anselme Breau. Predeceased by her sister Eveline Breau and her brothers Tim Durelle and Antoine Durelle. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Friday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers to be held at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held a St. Agnes Catholic Church 52 Croydon St. Chatham on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Cremation has taken place. Interment in New Brunswick at a later date.
