GRAHAM: Hazel A resident of Chatham, Hazel Graham died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday February 22, 2009 at the age of 90. Born in Aldborough Township on July 31, 1918, daughter of the late Hugh & Mary (Haywood) Johnston. Beloved wife of the late Carson Graham (2007). Loving mother of Glenda Lansens of Chatham, Gloria Elliot and her husband John of London, Warren Graham and his wife Carol of Petrolia, and Dale Graham and his wife Darlene of London. Predeceased by her son-in-law George Lansens (2000). Cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 9. Sister of the late Walter Johnston, Pauline McCaughrin, and Edna Woolford. Hazel taught at the Kendall Street Sunday School for over 25 years. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church. A special thank-you is extended to the staff of St. Andrew’s Residence and Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for their wonderful care and compassion. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on Thursday February 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with family interment at a later date.
