Obituary of Chris Powers

Powers: Chris, Died suddenly in his sleep early the morning of February 23, 2009; he was 52. Son of Jack and the late Wilma (Ward) Powers of Ridgetown, brother of Geoff of Toronto. A resident of Brentwood Bay B.C., formerly of Kent County, Ontario, St. Lambert and Lake Louisa, Quebec. Chris was bright and humorous, generous and very gentle. In lieu of donations, please do a kindness for someone who needs it. Chris's friends and family in the Brentwood Bay neighbourhood held a celebration of his life on April 4th, 2009. Everyone there was as cheering and kind as Chris himself, exchanging stories, helping out, and remembering to pet the dogs. It was very fitting and we will always remember it. Chris's friends and family in the Ridgetown area held a celebratin of his life on October 31, 2009. Following reminiscences, the "younger" people adjourned to Rondeau Park and shared in scattering his ashes where he enjoyed so many younger days.
