Kerr: Thomas Stewart A resident of Chatham, Thomas Kerr passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Friday, March 6, 2009 at the age of 76. Loving husband of 54 years to Betty Kerr. Loving father to Karen and Dan Olech of Oakville, Jackie and Bob Riberdy of Windsor, Lisa Kerr of Chatham, Christine and Bob Demers of Hamilton. Dear brother to Jack and Colleen Kerr of London, Anne Foster and Al Rose of London. Dear brother-in-law of Bob Knights of Blenheim, Nancy and Stewart Wilkinson of London, Pat and Bill Stewart of London. Tom will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Tom was a Corrections Officer with the Chatham Jail before his retirement. He will be forever remembered for his love of sailing and the memories he created out on the water at Erieau. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Monday from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. Rev. Johanna Van der Spek officiating. Memorial donations to honour Tom’s life can be made to Community Living of Chatham-Kent or the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
