Obituary of Rick Bokor

BOKOR: Richard (Rickie) J. A resident of Blenheim, Richard (Rickie) Bokor passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the age of 51. Born in Chatham, son of James and Gail (Cleveland) Bokor of Cedar Springs. Beloved spouse of Brenda L. (Smith) Colebrook. Dear father of Chelsey Bokor of Chatham, and step-father of Debbie and Matt Arenstein of Spring, Texas, Richard and Sheena Renwick of Windsor, and Russell Colebrook of Blenheim. Grandfather of Maxwell Arenstein. Brother of Ann Vlasschaert and her husband Mike of Tecumseh, Michael K. Bokor and his wife Cindy of Cedar Springs, and Cathy Bokor of Cedar Springs. Grandson of Isla May Cleveland of Cedar Springs and the late Roy Cleveland, Elizabeth (Sophie) Alward, and Michael and Veronica Bokor. He will also be missed by his best friend Jim Handy of Blenheim, Brenda's parents Harry and Carol Smith of Blenheim, and his cats Ripley and Rink-A-Dink. Also survived by a number of brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Rick was the owner/operator of Rick Bokor Lawncare and Snow Removal. He was passionate about his family and very proud of his work. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Cook of Blenheim United Church officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
