Obituary of Blanche Kells

KELLS: Blanche M. (Snelling) A Resident of Chatham, Blanch Kells died on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Copper Terrace Nursing Home, Chatham, at the age of 84. Born in Perth County to the late Morris & Lavina (Kocher) Snelling. Beloved wife of Harold Kells. Loving mother of Floyd & Brenda Kells of Chatham. Blanche will be missed by her grandsons Ryan and Shawn Kells. She is survived by sister Mary Groshaw of Drayton, and brother Harold & Kathleen Snelling of Goderich and predeceased by brother Wilfred Snelling and sister Pearl Whale. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Blanche was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church and was a Supervisor at Zellers until her retirement in 1992. Family will receive friends at St. James Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. at the church, with Rev. John Giurin officiating. Inurnment has taken place at the New Maple Leaf Mausoleum.
