KELLS: Blanche M. (Snelling) A Resident of Chatham, Blanch Kells died on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Copper Terrace Nursing Home, Chatham, at the age of 84. Born in Perth County to the late Morris & Lavina (Kocher) Snelling. Beloved wife of Harold Kells. Loving mother of Floyd & Brenda Kells of Chatham. Blanche will be missed by her grandsons Ryan and Shawn Kells. She is survived by sister Mary Groshaw of Drayton, and brother Harold & Kathleen Snelling of Goderich and predeceased by brother Wilfred Snelling and sister Pearl Whale. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Blanche was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church and was a Supervisor at Zellers until her retirement in 1992. Family will receive friends at St. James Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. at the church, with Rev. John Giurin officiating. Inurnment has taken place at the New Maple Leaf Mausoleum. Donations, made in memory of Blanche, to the St. James Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
