Obituary of Wm. Walter 'Walt' Cains

CAINS: William Walter ‘Walt’, a lifetime resident of Ridgetown, Walt died on Friday, March 20, 2009, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 78. Born in Ridgetown, to the late William & Margaret (Burrell) Cains. Beloved brother of Mildred McLoughlin of Chatham. Predeceased by sisters Phylis Jenner, Thelma Cains, Pearl Cains, and brothers David Cains, Charles Cains, and Norman Cains. Walt was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243 in Ridgetown. Cremation has taken place with a private family graveside service to be held at a later date. Donations made in memory of Walt to the Ridgetown Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243 or the Chatham Kent Health Alliance- I.C.U. unit are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
