Obituary of Marko Gerovac

Gerovac: Marko. A resident of Chatham, Marko Gerovac passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance- Chatham campus on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the age of 64. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, son of Katie Putric and the late Marko Gerovac. Loving husband of 25 years to Theresa Gerovac (nee Coulter). Dear father to Meka, Sandra, Marko & Laurie, Steve, and Katie. Nephew to Mary Vrkic. Marko is survived by many relatives in Croatia. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham, on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday April 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. Fr. Frank Leslie officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to honour Markos’ life can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Palliative Care and would be appreciated by the family.
