Obituary of Earl D. Bond

BOND: Earl Delmar A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Blenheim, Earl Bond passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday, April 13, 2009 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Velma Bond (nee Beckett). Loving father of Janet Provenza (Luigi) of Chatham, Bill Bond (Karen) of Chatham, Terry Bond (Cindi) of Chatham, Steve Bond (Mel) of Blenheim, Randy Bond of Ottawa, Don Bond (Charlene) of Chatham and Nicole Baillargeon (Brady) of Chatham. Proud grandfather and great-grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Earl was the son of Delbert and Fern Bond of Blenheim. He was the brother of Edna, Murray, Lorne, Eileen, Ruth, Betty and Helen. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Ivan, Doreen, Edith and Lloyd. Earl had worked at Eaton Yale for 23 years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St, Chatham, on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
