Obituary of Frances 'May' Paul

Paul: Frances May (nee Gordon-Kay) A resident of Chatham, May Paul passed away peacefully at the Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the age of 97. Born in Tilbury, daughter of the late Herbert and Frances Gordon-Kay. Loving wife of the late Clarence S. Paul (1971). Dear mother to Kay and Gord Tiffin of Chatham, Shirley Paul-Fenton of Blenheim. Proud grandmother to Shawn and Cathy Tiffin, Loree and Dave Schepens, Jamie and Ruth Tiffin, Mark and Tracie Paul, Brad and Valarie Paul, David and Cindy Paul all of Chatham. Great-grandmother to 15 and great-great-grandmother to 2. Predeceased by her son Jack (1994). May was the last member of her immediate family-surviving her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Her memory will live on in her children grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. May was a long-time employee of Turner's Drug Store before her retirement. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jamie Tiffin officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour May’s life can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice, and would be appreciated by the family.
