Obituary of Ernest Eastlake

EASTLAKE: Ernest W. A resident of Ridgetown, Ernest Eastlake passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the age of 87. Born in Duart, son of the late Wesley and Rozellah (MacTavish) Eastlake. Dear father of Gloria Bell of Glencoe and her late husband Garnet (1995), Gale Wilson and her husband Ron of London, Diana Eastlake of London and her late husband Joel Guyitt (1975), Arlene Taylor and her husband Richard of Ridgetown, Rochelle (Shelly) Eastlake and her fiancé Randy Catherwood of Brantford, and 5 step-children. Grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 13. Brother-in-law of Doris Schweitzer of Rodney. Predeceased by his first wife Lela (Schweitzer) Eastlake (2000). Ernest farmed most of his life in the Duart/Muirkirk community. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A graveside Funeral Service will be held in Duart Cemetery on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Donations in honour of Ernest to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
