Obituary of Devon Adam Robert Bekaert

BEKAERT: Devon Adam Robert. A resident of Toronto and formerly of Chatham, Devon died unexpectedly at the age of 28. Devon was born on September 1, 1980 to his parents Donna Van Boven (Ed) of Chatham and Ralph Bekaert of Hazel Park Michigan. Survived by his sister Shonna Saunders (Tom Heersma) of Shelby Township, Michigan and his brother Steven Saunders (Jackie Palleschi) of Scarborough. Also missed by his step sister Lisa Van Boven of Belle River. Proud uncle to Taran, Ethan and Kinsey. Loving companion of Kailey Garvey of Toronto. Devon is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Myrle & Robert Bekaert, and Irene & Howard Skipper. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair, Chatham, on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
