Obituary of Lawrence Martin

MARTIN: Lawrence Gene A resident of Chatham, Lawrence Martin died at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Monday, June 8, 2009, at the age of 69. Born in Chatham to the late Godfrey & Rose (Charron) Martin. Beloved husband of 49 years to Jeanette (Willder) Martin. Lawrence will be missed by his children Tracey Papps (Richard Maxwell) of Chatham, Larry Martin ( Debbie) of Chatham, Laurette Rochon (Pat) of Barrie, and Bill Martin of Barrie. He is remembered by his grandchildren Ryan Papps (Nicole), Denise Waddick (Tim), Jocelyn Martin (B.J.), Michael Martin, Nathan Martin, Trevor Jordan, Anthony Jordan, Jennifer Sterling (Brad), and Jason Martin, and his 8 great grandchildren. Lawrence is survived by his sister Lynn Ladd of Chatham, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter in law Anne Sterling, sisters Rosemarie Martin, and Pamela Jones, and an infant brother Joseph Martin. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home.
