Obituary of Marie Wammes

WAMMES: Marie A. A resident of Blenheim, Marie Wammes passed away at the Village Long-Term Care Residence, Ridgetown on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the age of 82. Born in Linschoten, The Netherlands, daughter of the late Henry and Cornelia (Kemp) LeNoble. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Wammes (1999). Dear mother of Ed Wammes and his wife Kim of R.R.#3 Blenheim, Henry Wammes and his wife Sheila of London, Neil Wammes and his wife Karen of R.R.#3 Blenheim, Corinne Kochnowich and her husband Steve of R.R.#2 Muirkirk, and Dave Wammes and his wife Sue of R.R.#1 Blenheim. Oma and grandmother to Dan and Lindsay, Chris and Kristin, Michelle, Mike, Brad, Jeff, Mitch, Katie, Stacey, Dale, Jenna, Nathan, Kristin, Jeremy, and Cassidy. Sister of Jeanne Vermeullen, Piete LeNoble, Ary LeNoble, Harry LeNoble, and Ge LeNoble all of The Netherlands, and the late Annette Schuurman, and Miep DeVisser. Sister-in-law of Julius Schuurman of Essex, Mary Wammes of Ridgetown, and Joke Wammes of The Netherlands. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wammes was a longtime faithful member of St. Mary's Parish, Blenheim and the C.W.L. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 95 Marlborough St. N., Blenheim on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
