Obituary of Sherry Cook-Schinkelshoek

COOK-SCHINKELSHOEK: Sherry (nee Hooker), a resident of Chatham, Sherry Cook-Schinkelshoek passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance –Sydenham Campus on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the age of 65. Born in Thamesville to the late Louis Hooker and Eunice Scott. Beloved wife of Tom Schinkelshoek. Loving mother of Robert Cook (Cindy) of Chatham and Joseph Cook of Wallaceburg. Dear stepmother of Jacob Dawson (Florence) and Christa Oliver (Dan), both of Stoney Point. Proud grandmother of Alisha, Shaylynn, Cory, Larissa, Matthew, Carlee, Stephanie, Chloe and Connor. Sherry was a longtime waitress at the Thames-Lea Restaurant. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix Street, Chatham on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Pieter Schinkelshoek officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations made on behalf of Sherry to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
