BRANSCOMBE: Florence A resident of Chatham, Florence Branscombe died peacefully at her residence on Monday June 15, 2009 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Branscombe. (1993) Loving mother of Howard & Mary Margaret Branscombe of Rondeau, Katheryn Yeoman & John Gilbert of Chatham, Leonard “Ben” & Joyce Branscombe of Richmond, B.C., Madeline & Claude Bidal of Chatham, and Ginny & Jim Perry of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 19. Florence was a curler, bowler and an avid & active golfer for many years. A tree is being planted in her memory at Countryview Golf Course. A private family gathering was held at McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date.
