WRIGHT: Karl S. A resident of Blenheim, Karl Wright passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the age of 79. Born in Howard Township, son of the late Justus and Vera (Tompkins) Wright. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Kyle) Wright (1993). Brother of the late Garnet Wright, Evelyn Paine, and Reefa Magee. Karl is survived by several nieces and nephews. Karl retired from K.S.R. in Ridgetown following 45 years of service. He was a member and Past Master of Kent Lodge #274 A.F. & A.M., Royal Arch Masons, and the Blenheim Shrine Club. He was a former Director of the Blenheim Senior's Centre, and the Blenheim Blades Hockey Club. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Masonic Lodge Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
