Obituary of Mavis Seney

Seney: Mavis Eleanor. A resident of Burlington and formerly Merlin, Mavis Seney passed peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday June 30, 2009 at Brantwood Lifecare, Burlington at the age of 87. Born and raised in Montreal, daughter of the late Harry & Emily (Davies) Botham. Beloved wife of Roy Edward Seney for 64 years. Dear mother of Barbara Tucker & her husband Jamie, Toronto; Pamela Maciejowski, Toronto; Doug Seney, Chatham; and Deborah Seney & her husband Tom Maciejowski, Chatham. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Audrey Phillips and Hal Botham. Mavis was an accomplished piano player and always enjoyed music & dance. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday July 2, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment Stewart Cemetery, Tilbury East Township.
