Obituary of Roy Seney

Seney: Roy Edward. A resident of Burlington and formerly of Merlin, Roy Seney passed peacefully on Friday July 17, 2009 at Brantwood Lifecare, Burlington at the age of 90. Born and raised in Raleigh Township, son of the late William James & Gertrude (Beaubien) Seney. Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Mavis Eleanor (Botham) Seney (June 30, 2009). Dear father of Barbara Tucker & her husband Jamie, Toronto; Pamela Maciejowski, Toronto; Doug Seney, Chatham; and Deborah Seney & her husband Tom Maciejowski, Chatham. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Ben, Harry, Jack, and Albert Seney, Grace Pepper, and Ruth Walker. A veteran of WWII, Roy served overseas with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was known for his green thumb and love of gardening. The twinkle in his eye, and his dry sense of humour will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
