SINCLAIR: Emma Clementine “Granny”. Our loving and caring mother, Emma Sinclair has gone to her eternal rest. She passed away on Saturday August 8, 2009 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 86. Born in Chatham Township, daughter of the late Alois & Laura (Porter) Benoot. Beloved wife of the late Albert Sinclair. She is survived by her daughters Ella Brown of Blenheim, Barbara & Larry Siddall of Chatham, Donna & Tom Hamilton of Dover Township, and daughters-in-law Sharon Doxtator of Pain Court and Sandy Trudell of British Columbia. Loving grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 31, and great great grandmother of 12. Sister-in-law of Mae Benoot of Chatham. Emma will be welcomed home by her husband; her son Albert; grandson Robbie; granddaughter Deborah; son-in-law Bob Brown; brother Del Benoot; step-brother George Dubuque; and special friend Leo Tasker. Emma took over the family oil truck business after Albert died in 1948, and continued to operate it until the late 1950’s. She later worked at Domtar in Quality Control for over 24 years. Family would like to thank all the nurses at CKHA-Room 410 for all the help and special care you gave to our mother. A special thank-you to her attending physician Dr. Donna Watterud. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Daniel Bombardier officiating. Interment in St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to Chatham-Kent OSPCA or Cancer Society appreciated.
