McGuigan, Peter. A resident of R.R. # 1, Blenheim, Peter McGuigan passed away on Monday, August 10, 2009 at his cottage at Gull Lake, Gravenhurst, Ontario at the age of 74 years. Born in Chatham, son of the late Finlay and Fern (Claus) McGuigan. Beloved husband of Shirley (Maude) McGuigan for 52 years. Dear father of Dianne McGuigan of R.R.#1, Blenheim. Cherished grandfather of Shane, Danielle and Nicole Houston. Brother of the late Nicholas McGuigan (2005) and his wife Eileen of Toronto. Brother-in-law of Philip Maude and his wife Mary of Toronto. Also survived by two nieces and one nephew. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim for visitation on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Bill Terris of Blenheim Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Craford Cemetery, Raleigh Township.
