DESAULNIER: Francis Michael A resident of Chatham, Francis Desaulnier died on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 88. Born in Chatham to the late Henry & Victoria Desaulnier. Beloved husband of 33 years to Betty Liberty. Loving father of Dennis & Lynda Desaulnier of Kitchener, Patrick & Johanna Desaulnier of Chatham, Sherrie & Eric Piens of Chatham, and Perry Desaulnier of Halifax. Dear step father of Robert & Elizabeth Liberty of Ottawa, Bonnie & Dennis Rea, Randy & Janet Liberty, and Mark & Gwen Liberty all of Chatham. Francis will be missed by his 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Margaret Storey of Chatham and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Francis was a veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28. He loved golfing and playing cards. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date.
